Image Not Full Width

Hi,

Hope you guys can advise me on this.
I’m trying to make this page to have a full width image.
http://buildchance.com/buildedu/en/1025-2/
However, there are still extra padding on the side.
I tried using the feature image but it doesn’t show the full image. The current one shown here is using the Big Hero from Site Origin.
Preferably to make it possible to show full image using Syndey function rather than Site Origin.

Thank you.

Hi,

You have set padding left and padding right of 150px to the Row that has the background image you want to make full-width, so please set 0 padding to it or use the below Custom CSS to remove the paddings from that and also the small padding from the panel grid below that:

#pg-1025-0 .panel-row-style {
    padding: 0 !important;
}

#pg-1025-0 .panel-grid-cell {
    padding: 0 !important;
}

Please add the above CSS to your Child Theme’s style.css or in case you haven’t setup a Child Theme already, then you can also use this plugin to add the CSS to it: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/ so you will not loose the changes on theme updates.

Please let me know how it works.

Best Regards,
Csaba

Hi Csaba,

Just tried the custom css method. It doesn’t work. Still looks the same.
Mind if you guide me through how to set it padding to 0 using the editor available in Sydney theme?

Thank you.

Hi,

Edit the Row in Page Builder, Under Layout you can set the paddings and margins, set those to 0, but unfortunately you can only set top/bottom paddings, so if you add that the left / right padding will remain I guess, so that may work only with the Custom CSS I gave you ( note: that works only for the single element I gave you on this page http://buildchance.com/buildedu/en/1025-2/ ).

Best Regards,
Csaba

Hi Csaba,

Thank you for your patience in guiding me. I’ll take your advise and apply the CSS.
Case resolved! :slight_smile:
