IGNIS: Hyperplink text colour

Hello again.

How do I change the colour of hyperlink text? At present the hyperlink changes colour when hovered over (and matches the colour set in Typography>Colors>General>Primary). However I would like it a different colour first to make it obvious it is a hyperlink.

Hello there,

Try adding this CSS code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS from dashboard.

    .woocommerce a.remove,
    .main-navigation a:hover,
    a, a:hover {
      color: #ff0000;
    }

Hello,

This code works well to change to a colour when the hyperlink is hovered over.

I would also like the hyperlink to be a different colour in the text, so people know to hover over it.

I have previously done this using your Sydney Pro theme (see https://thegarretpodcast.com).

Hello there,

Try this code:

    a {
      color: #ff0000 !important;
    }

    a:hover {
      color: #fff000 !important;
    }

Thank you. Should I remove the previous code you gave, or is this additional to it?

Hello,

This code changed EVERYTHING - the headers, the social media icons etc.

I am looking for code that ONLY changes the hyperlinks text.

This is possible on the Sydney theme (see thegarretpodcast.com).

Try this CSS code:

    #content.page-wrap a {
      color: #ff0000 !important;
    }

    #content.page-wrap a:hover {
      color: #fff000 !important;
    }

Hello again,

Unfortunately this code has not worked.

The hyperlinks change colour when hovered over, but they are the same colour as the text if not hovered over.

Hello there,

You could set differect hex color on this lines of code:

    #content.page-wrap a {
      color: #ff0000 !important;
    }

What about this code?

    #content .entry-content a:not(.roll-button) {
      color: #ff0000 !important;
    }
