Icons on services

How can I use different icons and not the fa-icons on service. I would like to include some law icons on services. Please help. Here’s my link:

Hello there,

Our theme uses Font Awesome icons library. To change the icon, you can insert the CSS class name of the icon of your choice. Be sure that it is available on the list.

To change the default icon, go edit the respective service on the below path:

Dashboard > Services > edit one item > enter the icon class name into the “Service icon” options.

If the class name you inserted won’t render the icon, it might be available on the newer version of Font Awesome. If so, you should require the latest library by doing these steps:

  1. Install and activate the Header and Footer Scripts plugin. Go to Settings > Header and Footer Scripts.

  2. Paste the following to the “Scripts in header:” box

<link rel='stylesheet' href='https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.7.0/css/font-awesome.min.css' type='text/css' media='all' />

  1. Save settings

Hi Kharis,

Is it possible to insert different image on those icon. For example something from the web that in not available in the library?

Hello there,

To include other font script, you can do the following:

  1. Use a child theme
  2. Download the font library and copy into the child theme’s folder. For cleaner structure, I’d suggest you stored it inside a separate folder. For instance, fonts.
  3. Then add the following function into your child theme’s functions.php file

function perth_pro_child_scripts(){

  wp_enqueue_style( 'your-script-handle', get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . '/fonts/font-library.css' );

add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'perth_pro_child_scripts' );

  1. Install and activate the child theme.
