How to Set Frontpage Menu Background Color to non-transparent

Dear Support,
The menu on the frontpage is set on a transparent background so that it doesn’t hide the slider images. Two questions:

  1. Is there a way to change that and set a custom background color for the menu via css?
  2. If I can do number 1, is there a way to move the slider slightly downwards so that the menu won’t hide the upper part of the slider?

Thanks in advance!

Hello there,

Thank you for posting in. To achieve those two, could you please try to apply the following CSS code through the Simple Custom CSS plugin or child theme’s style.css?

/* Change the menu bar background */
.home .site-header{
   background-color: #fff000;

/* Move the slider downwards */
.home .header-slider{
   margin-top: 94px;

Still can’t find something that you don’t know!
