How to remove the dark color overlay from the home page Featured Posts widget

I would like to see the images without the dark overlay or opacity. Thanks

Hello there,

Did you mean the images of featured posts section as seen on our homepage demo? If so, you would add the below CSS snippet into your site’s additional CSS options.

.sticky-post-style2:after,
.sticky-post .sticky-inner:after {
    display: none;
}

Thank you Kharis, this worked! Yes this is just what I needed. Best, Erica

You’re welcome!

Hello! I’m looking to reduce the opacity, rather than remove it entirely. Is there a way to reduce to 20 or 30%?

Thanks!

Hi Christine,

You can use this code to reduce the overlay opacity.

.sticky-post-style2:after,
.sticky-post .sticky-inner:after {
  background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2);
}

0.2 means 20% opacity level of black color. The default value is 0.5. Do an adjustment to meet your design requirement.
