How to remove overlay from recent projects

Hi Guys,

Just wondering how I remove the colour overlay on the ‘recent projects’? I want to remove the orange overlay and the white rectangle that appear when you hover over the image. Is this possible.

Here is the site (scroll to the bottom to see the recent projects section.

Also, is it possible to remove the image link in the recent project section so the images are not clickable?

Hello there,

Please try adding this extra CSS code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS from dashboard.

.work-wrap .item-work .overlay .content,
.works-masonry .item .overlay .content {
  background-color: transparent;
}

Thanks Kharis,

This worked to remove the white rectangle but it did not remove the orange overlay. Is it possible to remove this and remove the image link from each email? I don’t want the images to be clickable. I just want them to be scrolling images on the home page, not linked to another page of the image.

Hello there,

Please try doing the below steps:

  1. Install and activate the TC Custom JavaScript plugin
  2. Go To Appearance > Custom JavaScript
  3. Paste the following code into the provided box

 ;(function($) {

    'use strict'

    if( $('.rocked_projects_widget').length ) {

      $('.rocked_projects_widget a.item-wrap > div').unwrap();

    }

})(jQuery);

  1. Update

To remove the orange overlay, replace the CSS code I suggested (in my previous reply) to this one:

.work-wrap .item-work .overlay,
.works-masonry .item .overlay {
  display: none;
}

Kharis

That’s perfect, thanks Kharis.

You’re welcome!
