How To Remove CSS From Sydney Pro Theme

#1

Hey there,

Apologies for the rudimentary nature of this question… I am trying to remove some CSS from a site that I am working on. I know typically this would be done through “Appearance” --> “Editor” and I would edit the PHP templates but I cannot find this snippet of code at all.

The page is http://ginjourney.newspoof.com/ and the CSS I am trying to remove is:

@media only screen and (max-width: 1024px)
.header-inner {
	display: block;
}

I know this is what I want to remove as I have tested it in Chrome dev tools and it has the effect I desire. I’ve tried to override this CSS using the “!important” attribute in Simple CSS (and display:none ; visibility:hidden) but that did not work. Any advice here would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Anthony

Hello Anthony,

You should see file name, CSS rule row, and file address (when hovering over file name) in top right corner of CSS rule within dev tools.

However, please note that you will lose your modifications after theme update if you will modify theme files directly.

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.
