How to get Hamburger menu on desktop & laptop resolutions

I currently have two websites both using the Sydney theme with basically the same layout.

What I am trying to accomplish on each is to replace the standard list style menu with the mobile “hamburger” menu and to have it located in the top left corner of desktop & laptop resolutions

I’ve searched up how to do this and found this article but it didnt seem to work for me as I’m not using the “custom javascript plugin”
(Use Mobile Menu (hamburger) as only Nav...no desktop nav wanted).

Is there a way I can adjust this code by just creating a custom javascript file or if anyone could help with this it would be much appreciated!

Thanks a ton Kharis! you’re the best. This worked perfectly, however now i’m having an issue getting my site logo to get centered.

Edit: Never mind I believe I’ve got it all sorted out now. Thanks again!
