How to customize link color?

#1

Hi, I am new to themes and customization. I am surprised I can customize so many things on Sweetheat, but NOT the color of links, via the customizer.

I have scoured this forum and googled, and tried numerous ways to change it via custom CSS in a child theme. I am not a CSS geek, but learned enough to test that my custom CSS is in fact being applied (ex: footer is not standard black but same as page color).

The except when I try to change the link color. I feel like it is being overridden somewhere, but I cannot find where.

Webpage in progress is http://www.abiggerga.me/coachingcocktails/osworkshop/

You can see links are light gray, and I have tried to override this in the child theme CSS but it is not applied.

I have looked all over, in my WP config, in the Config editor, and feel I must be missing something. Is there a setting in a standard WP or Sweeetheat config UI that I am supposed to use?

thanks

Doh. Suddenly it works. Using override CSS in child theme:

a:link { color: #B83806; }
a:visited { color: #B83806; }

If you waved some magic wand, thanks!
