How to change text/contact form widget's title's colour

Hi,

I have problem changing title colours. I want to change both text widget’s and SiteOrigin Contact Form widget’s title(text) to white. How I can do it?

Hello there,

Could you please try to apply the following CSS code through the Simple Custom CSS plugin or child theme’s style.css?

/* Text widget */
.widget_text .widget-title{
  color: #ff0000 !important;
}

/* Contact form */
.widget_sow-contact-form .widget-title{
  color: #fff000 !important;
}

If you are running the latest version of WordPress, you can insert that code through Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.

Hi Kharis,

Thanks! By the way will it change all the headers to white? I have changing background so some titles should be black.

Hello there,

You can change the color value to any color of your choice. For hex color code, you can get it from this tool: http://www.color-hex.com/color-wheel.

Thank you Kharis,

The custom css did work on contact form. :slight_smile:

How can I change only certain text widget’s title to white (I want that other text widgets titles remain black.)?

Hi Mikko,

You can set a unique class name from Widget Styles options > Attributes > Widget Class. Enter my-text-widget, then you can use the following custom CSS code:

.widget_text .my-text-widget .widget-title{
  color: #fff !important;
}
