How to change sub menus style?

I’m using the regular Moesia. How do I change the styling of the submenus?
They seems so simple and a bit dull.
Can I change the fonts of the sub menu so it will fit the font of the menu

Hello @roymesi,

Can you please describe what exactly do you want to change?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi Roman,

  1. can I change the fonts to be the same as the main menu fonts? changing the color? size? make it bold? (like in the picture - OUR SERVICES fonts).
  2. can I make the sub menu get closer to the main menu tabs?
  3. can I change the background color of the sub menu floating box?

Hello @roymesi,

Please try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code to your site with Simple Custom CSS plugin (just copy CSS code and paste it in Dashboard → Appearance → Custom CSS after installing and activating the plugin). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme.

@media screen and (min-width: 992px) {
    nav#site-navigation ul ul a {
        font-size: 16px;
        color: rgb(50,50,50);
        font-weight: bold;
        text-transform: uppercase;
        font-family: Oswald;
    }

    nav#site-navigation ul ul {
        top: 80%;
        background-color: lightblue;
    }
}

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Great!
Is there any change to change the sub menu item while hovering over it!
Thank you.
Roy

Hello Roy,

Can you please describe what exactly do you want to change on hover?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi Roman,
In the original sub menu, whenever I hovered over a submenu item, it changed its color (even if I did not click on it - it was responsive). Now, if I hover over an item, the pointer just changes to a hand mouse pointer but the color does not changes.
Thx,
Roy

Another question:
Can I change the time it takes from the moment I hover over a menu item till the sub menu item is shown?
I want to make a short delay till the animation of the sub menu is shown (like 1 second).
Thank you.
Roy

Hello Roy,

  1. It seems like you have already added some hover effects.

  2. Looks like your animation delay issue requires some coding and testing, this goes beyond our support policy. It’s considered advanced customization.

As an option, you can contact Codeable for this kind of service, or find a freelancer on Upwork.

Kind Regards, Roman.
