How to change full width?

#1

Hi!

I view right now the site on Macbook Pro (resolution is 2560 x 1600) and I see this:

this width is too wide…

How can I change the margins on this resolution?

Thank you :slight_smile:

Also: why is there so much white space on the right side? How can I remove it?

Hello,

I’m not sure what exactly you want to achieve, can you please provide more details? And can you please provide a link to your website as well?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Sure. This is the url: https://netbloom.hu/blog

My problem short: I want my site to look like as it is on my preview:

It has good looking margins on left and right side, but if I exit the preview it’s nothing like it. There are very narrow margins and there is this empty sidebar thing on the right as well.

Hello, try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code in Customize → Additional CSS section.

#primary {
    width: 100%;
}

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thank you. This eleminates, the empty sidebar :slight_smile:
Can I somehow change this element to use this value:

@media (min-width: 1200px)
.container {
width: 1070px;
}

if I copy this into Additional CSS nothing happens sadly :frowning:

This would solve all my problems.

Hello, try this instead:

@media (min-width: 1200px) {
    .container {
        width: 1070px;
    }
}
