How to change color footer

my footer has a grey color where the message " Proudly powered by WordPress" is shown. How can ich change the color of the footer background into #FFFFFF ? I installed the plugin “Custom JavaScript” Is there a JavaScript that i can paste in my plugin? Thanks a lot

You can change the footer background color from Appearance menu > Customize > Colors > Footer.
