How to anchor top menu with headers on front page

I am relatively new to WP and web site creation, however, thanks for the great Sydney theme in which I am trying to create a site.

The site, http://www.sensormanagement.io/, is 85 to 90% ready, however, I have some issues I haven’t been able to find explanations to, on this forum or elsewhere so I hope you can help.

  1. How do to create an anchor points from the top menu, Services, Sectors, Products, and Contact to the header section on the front page.

  2. How to remove the header when creating new pages like on the page, Who We Are under Home.

Thanks

Hello,

1. All you have to do in order to link to certain page section is to use this link structure:

https://example.com/#section-id, or just #section-id, but it will work only on one page.

Just replace https://example.com/ with your home page URL, and #section-id with the id of respective section.

You can set section ID in Elementor:

Also you can use Elementor Menu Anchor widget:

2. Please create a new topic for your second issue to keep the forum in good order and make it easier to help you.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hello there,

You can use Custom Links type of menu in Appearance > Menus. In the URL field enter https://yoursite.com/#sectionID

You can get sectionID with web browser’s inspector tool.

Visit Appearance > Customize > Header area > Header type; choose “No header (only menu)” for “Site header type”.

Kharis

Thank you it worked great.
