How to add new fonts on Ignis

Hello,
Is there any way to install fonts in Ignis theme? other than the default fonts list.

Hello,

You can check this link:

Thanks that’s useful!

The font that I’m looking for is available within Ignis default list, it’s called “Montserrat” but I needed to increase font weight from 600 to 700.

Is there a way to increase header title font weight to “700” using CSS?

Hello,

I’m not sure what you mean by header title, but I guess that it’s Hero title that you can add in Customize > Header > Header text section. You can try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code in Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS.

.header-text h2 {
    font-weight: 700;
}

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hello there,

I didn’t get your query as I only speak English. But I used Google Translate and if it doesn’t wrong, you need to revise your code in order to load your custom font on your website.

Your code should reside in a child theme’s style.css. You should have a fonts folder in your child theme’s folder, and the fonts files are in there.

I have written similar solution for the same cases like these, which you can read it in this thread:
