i only want to change one sentence in my text. is there any special code-snipped that i have to use?
i want to use google fonts, but the font i choose doesnt work.

Usually a font should be added before using. Please try to use the following CSS code in order to add Audiowide font.

You can add CSS code in DashboardAppearanceCustomizeAdditional CSS (WordPress 4.7 and up). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme.

@import url('');

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Please try to use Text widget instead of SiteOrigin Editor widget.

thx. but it doesnt work

i used this html code:

<p style=”font-family: ‘Ruthie’, cursive;”>BLABLABLABLABLABLA</p>

please help me
It can not be so hard to change the style of one sentence. its 2017!

  1. It looks like you still use SiteOrigin Editor widget, not a Text widget.

  2. It doesn’t matter whether you want to change font-family of one sentence or whole site, you have to make sure that the font is added and it’s available. Please check my answers above to learn more about it.

  3. You can add Ruthie font with this custom CSS code:
    @import url('');

it doesnt work!
used textwidget. and imported your css-code… :frowning: - share DEINE Bilder - share DEINE Bilder

I have just tried to add and use that font on my localhost install and it worked as it should. It looks like your issue requires close inspection, this goes beyond our support policy. As an option, you can find a reputable freelancer on Upwork for this kind of service.

I have just tried to add and use that font on my localhost install and it worked as it should.

what did u do?

  1. I tried to use that font for a random element on a page without adding the font, it didn’t work just as I expected.

  2. I added this CSS code:
    @import url(‘’);
    And after that I was able to use the font.

“I was able to use the font.”

how`? can you explain exactly what u did?
THX man

I added <p style="font-family: 'Ruthie', cursive;">Test sentence.</p> into Text widget.

Please make sure that your copied code contains correct quotation marks.

Hi Roman,
i did it exactly like you. no other changes on my site! no extra-code! just the regular sydney theme.
please look at my screenshot-medley.

it looks like wordpress falls back to another font.
