Hiding information (date of publication and user)

HI! I have my website almost ready.
I must ask how do I hide the information of the topics (blog and products of the portfolio). I don’t want to show the date of publication and the user, only the category. Can I do it?
Thanks for the help

Dear Ricardo,

It can be done by adding the below custom CSS code:

.hentry.type-post .entry-meta .posted-on,
.hentry.type-post .entry-meta .byline,
.hentry.type-projects .entry-meta .posted-on,
.hentry.type-projects .entry-meta .byline{
  display: none;

To apply it to your site, you can insert it into additional CSS option under Appearance > Customize.

Thanks for the quick response. Sorry, not understanding where do I insert the code.
Appearance > Customize and then?
Thanks so much!

Sorry for confusion.

If you are running WordPress 4.7 already, you can add that custom CSS code into Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS. But if you aren’t yet, alternatively you can use the Simple Custom CSS plugin.

Thanks. I did the 4.7 and it’s ok now. Thanks
