Hide Site Title on header

As title, I need to hide the Site Title in the header.
This is the site: http://www.italy-extravirgin-oil.com
I want to show only the tagline (Olio Extravergine di Oliva) and I need to hide the site title (Olio Poldo).
Other themes gives the opportunity to hide it from the menu, like this: https://docs.generatepress.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/title-tagline.png

Thank you guys!

Hello @lomike,

Can you please describe how exactly you added the logo?

Kind Regards, Roman.

I went in Appearence menu, then Customize -> General -> Upload your logo

Thanks @Roman

Okay, and how did you add text on the right side of logo and below logo?

It shouldn’t be there by default.

Kind Regards, Roman.

@Roman sorry for the delay. I’ve been extremely busy.
However, the sign “Olio Poldo” appeared when I added Site Title and Tagline in General Setting. In the same way it appears in Appearance -> Customize -> Site Identity -> Site Title, Tagline.

Thanks

Hello @lomike,

It looks like there are some modifications in your header.php file. You can try to replace it with default unmodified header.php file (please make a full site backup first), but be careful, there potentially might be modifications that you don’t want to lose.

Please remember about importance of regular full site backups (files and database):

Also you might want to check this tutorial:

As a workaround, you can try to use the following CSS code in order to make that text color the same as header background color, so it will be invisible, but it will still be there.

You can add CSS code in Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS (WordPress 4.7 and up).

.site-branding {
    color: #222222;
}

Kind Regards, Roman.
