Header title on full width pages

Hey guys,

How can I add a custom title to the header of each full-width page? I’m wanting to do this rather than having the page title under the header.

Many thanks,

Kezia

Hello Kezia,

It looks like this issue requires some coding and testing on different screen resolutions, this goes beyond our support policy. It’s considered advanced customization. As an option, you can find a reputable freelancer on Upwork for this kind of service.

Kind Regards, Roman.

No worries. Thanks Roman. Is there a way of formatting the page title when it appears below the header, as per normal?

Cheers,

Kezia

Hello Kezia,

Can you please describe what exactly you want to achieve?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Sorry, Roman. So the page title usually appears left-aligned at the top of each page. How would I centre it and change the font, size and colour, for example?

Thanks so much,

Kezia

Hello Kezia,

Please try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code in DashboardAppearanceCustomizeAdditional CSS (WordPress 4.7 and up). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme.

body.page article.page.hentry .title-post {
    text-align: center;
    font-family: Open Sans;
    font-size: 32px;
    color: green;
}

You can replace green with any other color or color code. You can use a color picker to find the right color code, for example this color picker:
https://www.w3schools.com/colors/colors_picker.asp

Feel free to play with font-family and font-size :slight_smile:

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thanks so much, Roman. That’s really helpful :slight_smile:

You are welcome Kezia! And have a nice day ?

Kind Regards, Roman.
