Header Title Glitching Bug

I’m experiencing a strange glitch with the Header Title, when resized the header title will glitch out of place and that’s something rather annoying. Here’s a video of said bug:

Does anyone else experiance this bug or does anyone know how to fix it?

Thanks for further information in advance.

Hello RafaelDeJongh,

I don’t see it neither on Sydney demo site nor on my local Sydney install. However, I do see it on your website.

Can you please try to temporarily deactivate all your plugins except Sydney Toolbox and Page Builder by SiteOrigin, and see if it helps?

By the way, I don’t think that it’s a serious issue. Users usually don’t do such things :slight_smile:

Kind Regards, Roman.

Dear Roman,

I’ve completely merged my websites that were all using the theme and having this issue to a test environment, where I disabled all the plugins.

This wasn’t the problem and later found that that the Checkbox in the Customisation -> Header Area -> Header Slider -> Stop the text slider?

Was the cause of this error, so this is actually a theme error and the reason it’s not seen by default on the demo site, is that the text isn’t stopped.

I would like to have this fixed as there are various cases that end users do experience this.
Same as my other thread: https://athemes.com/forums/topic/white-gap-at-the-top-of-the-slider-after-resizing-from-a-small-window-to-full/

Which also was found by (you guessed it) a end user. You can see this bug being present on my test environment here with just Sydney installed: http://www.rafaeldejongh-testwebsite.ga/

So is there any way to fix this theme wise or could you just tell me what I’d have to change code wise?

Hello RafaelDeJongh,

I’ve notified our Developer, let’s see what he says.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi,

I believe this should fix this:

.header-slider {
    max-height: 100%;
}

We’ll add this in the theme too, though it’s pretty much an edge case.

Thanks that did the trick! I noticed the effect actually more on mobile by just scrolling on the page that the text would jump/glitch. So that’s why it was a bigger concern than actually just resizing it!

Either way thanks for the quick fix!
