Header Menu Scroll settings

Hi,

The header menu background colour only applies when I scroll down the page by a set amount. I would like to have the this background colour permanently applied as its key for the branding of the site. How can I control this?

Thanks

Hi,

Please post a link to your website, so I can check.

Hi there,

I am still waiting for a response to this query?

Please can you let me know how to fix this.

Thanks

Hi,

You can apply the color for the static top menu too with this Custom CSS:

.site-header.fixed {
    background-color: #ffa73a !important;
}

Please add the above CSS to your Child Theme’s style.css or in case you haven’t setup a Child Theme already, then you can also add the CSS to wp-admin -> Appearance -> Customizer -> Additional CSS so you won’t loose the changes after Theme or WordPress updates.

Please let me know how it works.

Hi there,

Sorry but your suggested fix has not worked. I have added the code into the additional CSS field but nothing has changed. The menu continues to load as transparent and only changes to solid colour when the page is scrolled down. I would like solid colour to be applied to the header menu at all times.

Please can you suggest something else?

Thanks
James

Hi,

Please try this Custom CSS instead and let me know how it works:

.site-header {
    background-color: #ffa73a !important;
}
