Header Menu - Primary Color 'shows through'

In my Sydney themed WordPress site, on the header menu, there is a thin white line just above the sub-menu box. This white color corresponds to the Sydney General | Primary color.

I can’t figure out how to make this line not show in the header. I want to keep the Primary color white, but the menu ‘box’ should be either the bright or dimmed green. Can you help me find the CSS entry to adjust this?

Hello there,

To get rid of it, try adding this CSS code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS from dashboard.

    #mainnav .sub-menu li:hover > a,
    #mainnav ul li ul:after {
      background-color: transparent !important;
    }
