Header images

#1

Hi - I’d like to show a different header image on each page. I have found the function to randomise headers, but is there a way to specify the header image which appears for a particular page?
http://www.yellowfinchmarketing.uk/
(NB I mean the very top banner header image, not the featured image).
Thanks in advance

Hi,

I guess you could do it with some custom CSS and target those pages or posts by ID. For example for your Crowd campaign it would go like this:

.postid-41 .site-header:after {
    background: url(http://www.yellowfinchmarketing.uk/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/yellowfinch-marketing-lightbulb.jpg) no-repeat !important;
}

And you would need to replace the URL with the one you want and also replace the ID.

Thanks for the reply. I am not proficient in custom CSS so this would be beyond me. But in short, there’s no easy way of doing this in the CMS that I am missing - is that right?

No, there isn’t, sorry.
