H1 tag in footer

#1

Hello, I noticed that I have two H1 tags on my home page for the site:

I wish to remove the H1 tag in the footer. How do I do this?

Hello there,

To accomplish it, you’d need to edit the theme’s footer.php file with in a child theme mode. And remove these lines of code:

<div class="footer-area">
  <div class="footer-branding">
	<h1 class="site-title"><a href="<?php echo esc_url( home_url( '/' ) ); ?>" rel="home"><?php bloginfo( 'name' ); ?></a></h1>
</div>

I understand. Do you know if the Child Theme Configurator plugin works with Perth Pro to create a Perth Pro Child Theme?

I haven’t tried that plugin. But I think it should be working.
