H1 displayed in front page as section

Dear all,

since an update the h1 (title on my front page) is showing up between the header section (slider) and my first section, so it looks like a break how took space, what isn´t good. Is there a way to disable the title on my front page?

Got it, but I think I need to check it directly to your site to know what is cause it.

Ok, is there a way to text private massage?

You can send it to my email: awan.rimbawan at gmail

Sorry, wrong email. I mean this: awan.rimbawan101 at gmail

Thanks! Send it to you. Hope it works.

Okay, the problem is in your child theme. Please follow this default step https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes on creating child theme.

You have incorrect setting on this:

  • naming the directory of the child theme
  • the style.css child theme configuration is incorrect. see this example:
 Theme Name: Sydney Child
 Theme URI: https://athemes.com/theme/sydney
 Description: Sydney Child Theme
 Author: aThemes
 Author URI: https://athemes.com
 Template: Sydney
 Version: 1.20
License: GNU General Public License v2 or later
 License URI: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html
 Text Domain: sydney-child

After you fix this, then you have edit the front page: edit page > choose “Front page” template for page attribute http://prntscr.com/99t97t

Hi Awan,

thanks, that works. The headline isn´t visible anymore. Had just configure the header section again.

The style.css referencing to the parent theme was configured incorrect.

Thanks for that fast and perfect help!

I love
