Got a "cURL error 28: Connection timed out" when I click Theme License

Hi, I renewed yesterday the Sydney Pro license but each time I click on “Theme License” I got a “cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 10001 milliseconds” on the site www.mvo.fr What can I do ? Thanks for the help. Regards. Franck

Dear Kharis, thank you for your answer. Therefore, I tried Friday from work (poor internet connection there) and home (fiber optic connection) and yesterday from home and right now and still have the issue…
Is there any other way to enter the license key ?

Hello Franck,

cURL error 28 issue is usually related to improper configuration in your site’s server. Read this article that will help give a lot of information about it. If you still don’t get any solution from there, you would probably have to contact your web hosting’s support department.

I have worked on my license update trouble and checked the configurations. Everything is fine here.

So I installed a cUrl tester on my site (http://www.mvo.fr/curl_test.php) and when you test with http://www.google.com it works fine but when you try http://www.athemes.com it doesn’t work.

Does athemes block IPs?

In the text field, enter a valid URL (example: http://www.google.com) and click “Submit” then try http://www.athemes.com

Just to let you know the “Theme License” page is now working.

Now when I enter the license key and then click “Activate” I get a “License status is unknown”.
