Google Maps API key does not work? Pls look at reply

My clients Google Map does not load at all. When I got a new API key I inserted by the Customize settings, I have even emailed Google and this was their reply. Where can I fix this? Please help!

It appears that you have included the Google Maps JavaScript API multiple times in your Contact web-page the reason your map fails to load. Please see attached screenshot.

They are as follows:

JS API Call #1:*****lXPI

  • This is the correct API bootstrap since the URL contains key= parameter with a valid API key as value.

JS API Call #2:

  • Please remove this excess part. This will result your Maps JavaScript API request to fail because the URL doesn’t contain an API key.

Can you please tell me where and how to fix this!

I would be glad to help you, but can you please provide a link to relevant website?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi Roman

The website is and go to the contact page.

Hello Johann,

I couldn’t recreate your issue on my local Perth Pro install, map is working well on contact page after adding API key in Customize → Perth Pro options → Google Maps section. You can try to temporarily deactivate all your plugins except Toolset Types and Page Builder by SiteOrigin, and see if it helps. Please remember about importance of regular full site backups (files and database):

Hello Johann,

I’ve just checked your website but you still have many plugins activated. Can you please deactivate all your plugins except Toolset Types and Page Builder by SiteOrigin, and leave here a note?

You can create a staging website for troubleshooting purposes, here is an extensive tutorial:
