Gaps on full width

my site on full width settings keeps making huge gaps between the footer and header. how do i change this, im still new to wordpress,the padding has already been removed, set to zero. Its the about us page im building on, jesusinbrum.co.uk

Hi,

You can either assign the Front Page template or you can use this in a custom CSS plugin:

.page-wrap {
      padding: 0;
}

Thank you, I’m afraid I do not have a custom CSS plugin or a premium word press account, where should this code be position on which file, would it be the page_fullwidth.php ? I believe I can edit it on the files I host directly, rather than through wordpress provided I make a copy in case I make a big mess.

There’s no mess to be made and you don’t need any account.

Go to Plugins > Add New and search for Simple Custom CSS. It’s this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/
Then add the code in the space the plugin provides.

Never edit theme files directly, especially if your plan it to add CSS in a PHP file :slight_smile:

Thank you! Very helpful!
