Full width blog

Sorry, another post from me! www.rworld.org.uk (hiddenfornow password). Under Customize, Blogs Options, I have that set to “full width (no sidebar)”. However on blog pages / posts (eg https://www.rworld.org.uk/category/events/ or https://www.rworld.org.uk/first-event/) they’re still showing the sidebar (albeit empty which I’ve done!).

Thanks,
Ed

Hi @ed-it,

The option only removes sidebar from the main blog index page. But the single post and archive pages will still show the sidebar.

To hide it on those pages, you can add this CSS code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS from dashboard.

    .single-post .site-content #secondary, .archive .site-content #secondary, .search .site-content #secondary {
    	 display: none;
    }
     @media only screen and (min-width: 992px) {
    	 .single-post #primary.content-area, .archive #primary.content-area, .search #primary.content-area {
    		 width: 100%;
    	}
    }
