Front page Page Template

#1

Hi,

One of the guys I’m working with screwed around with the code for the Front page Page Template without saving the original. This is what the code looks like now:

<?php /* Template Name: Front page */

get_header(); ?>

<div id=“primary” class=“content-area fullwidth”>

 <?php while ( have_posts() ) : the_post(); ?>

 <?php the_content(); ?>

 <?php endwhile; // end of the loop. ?>

	</main><!-- #main -->
</div><!-- #primary -->

<?php get_footer(); ?>

Could you give me the original code please? I’m trying to add content to the page now (because the client has changed their mind) but it’s not showing up.

Thanks.

I don’t see any changes from the original: https://themes.svn.wordpress.org/quill/1.04/page_front-page.php

You’re supposed to use the Page Builder with the front page template in case you want to do something like the demo.

Yes, I used the front page editor to add to the front page but the content that I created isn’t showing up. Is there another php that would affect the content not showing up on the front page?

Of course it doesn’t, your home page is set to the latest posts :slight_smile:

The second video from this page shows how to set a static front page (and also import demo content). Further reading here if it’s needed.

OMG.
That was dumb of me. I was freaking out because this idiot had changed some of the code. Sorry about that. Thanks for your help.
