Front page isn't in full width on mobile devices

Hey There,

the responsive view of my site (www.neu.schilder-stadler.at/wordpress/) isn’t as you can see in the screenshots below looking good. The headlines are cut off, also the buttons are. The text is centered but it isn’t using the available width, just a third of it. Why is that?

Thanks for any help!

Dear Michael,

It happens because you applied custom padding to some widgets. For instance, services widget “Leistungen”. Please edit this widget then unset all paddings under the “Layout” tab of widget styles.

To narrow down the widget that works responsively, try the following steps instead:

  1. Add a custom class name to the widget through Widget Styles > Attributes > Widget Class. E.g.: narrow-widget

  2. Apply the following CSS code through the Simple Custom CSS plugin or child theme’s style.css:

@media only screen and (min-width:992px){

  .narrow-widget{
    max-width: 500px;
    margin-left: auto;
    margin-right: auto;
  }

}
