Footer Text, underline and social icon color

Hello,
I try to give the content of the footer a different color than the rest but I only managed the headlines. Every div I try isn`t working because it always gets overwritten. Maybe someone knows how to fix it.

Thanks

Hello,

You can add this to a custom CSS plugin:

.footer-widget-area .widget {
   color: #aaa;
}

Hello,

I tried it and its not working like that. I also tried

.footer-widget-area .widget {
color: #fff important!;
}

But the color is still the color I choose in the customizer.

Any idea?

I ment

.footer-widget-area .widget {
color: #fff !important;
}

not that you think the ! is at the wrong place :wink:

Could you post a link to your website please?

Sorry I forgot that.
You can still log in with the data I emailed you if you need to.

But it does work, even without !important. I just added some text there and it’s white. What exactly are you trying to change?

Oh maybe you got me wrong :wink: it works for the text but not for the underline and social icons.

I see. Well, those are part of the color scheme and none of those two elements are text. You can overwrite them like this:

.footer-widget-area .social-widget li a::before {
    color: #fff;
}
.widget-title {
    border-color: #fff;
}
