Font changes made in Customizer not taking effect

Hi, We recently switched from using Sydney Lite to Pro. While the switch has been fairly smooth, we are facing issues with the Header fonts. It’s too big and we are trying to reduce it from the Customizer. However, this is not having any effect. Could you please help fix this?

What does one of your header read? Please point me that out, so I can get the exact solution to suggest.

I may have misled you by using the word “Header". I actually meant the heading font - please refer to the link for the highlighted screenshot.

Hello Arun,

Try adding this CSS code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS from dashboard.

    .panel-grid-cell .widget-title {
      font-size: 24px;
      padding-bottom: 17px;
    }

The CSS supplied by you is a good workaround and it works. However, I’m looking for a more permanent solution. i.e to affect such changes using the Customizer Font settings.

Hello Arun,

The current font setting in the customizer excludes widget title size of page builder panel. Adding extra CSS code to Additional CSS actually produces the same output. Other way you can do: go to Settings > Page Builder; click on Widgets tab. Then add inline style to this code:

<h3 class="widget-title">{{title}}</h3>

It’ll become like this:

<h3 class="widget-title" style="font-size: 24px; padding-bottom: 17px;">{{title}}</h3>

Understood Karis!

It looks like the widget Title in the Pro version is coded with an unusually large font size. The lite version seems just fine. You might want to do a quick comparison and see if there’s anything to be done.
