Fixed footer but not when scrolling

I’m wondering the following. Earlier i used some custom css to use a fixed footer.
The footer is now Always in the bottom of the page.

But the problem is the footer is Always showing when you scroll the page. So you Always see the footer bar.
Is there a possibility to let it stay at the bottom and only shows when you scroll to the bottom of the page?
I tried position absolute already but then i got some blank space beneath the footer.

Current using this custom css:
@media (max-width: 600px) {
.menu-wrapper {
width: 50%;

.site-branding {
    text-align: left;

.menu-wrapper .btn-menu {
    float: right;

.header .container .row {
    display: flex;

position: fixed;
bottom: 0;
left: 0;
right: 0;

Any help?

Please post a link to your website, so I can check and also please clarify what do you want to achieve at the end, if I understand correctly you would like to have the footer at the bottom ( but that’s like that by default ), so it’s unclear for me what you would like to achieve.

Kind Regards,
