Filling the background up

How do I make the background of a page/post disappear, so the background picture of the site is seen there instead?

(First time making a website, not using Live Composer)

Hello,

I’m not sure what is your exact issue. Can you please provide more details and a link to your website?

Kind Regards, Roman.

I would like to either change the white background of a page/post/widget into another color or to make it dissappear completely so the orange background picture is put there instead.

Hello,

Please try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code in DashboardAppearanceCustomizeAdditional CSS (WordPress 4.7 and up). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme.

#primary .hentry,
#secondary.widget-area .widget,
#primary .entry-footer {
    background-color: transparent;
    border: none;
}

Kind Regards, Roman.

Wow, thank you, that’s great. But isn’t there another way to do this? I would like to be able to do this on my own, without using CSS. Isn’t there a plugin who provides such options?

Hello,

I don’t think that there is an easy way to do it without using custom CSS code.

Kind Regards, Roman.
