Hello there,

I am sorry to hear you have run into trouble.

Did you modify the main theme’s file(s)?

Please check the sydney-pro-ii/widgets/fp-call-to-action.php file and be sure that these lines of code exist.

function flush_widget_cache() {
   wp_cache_delete('sydney_action', 'widget');
}

Regards,
Kharis

Thanks Kharis

i found the file, i do not modify anything i was working from de Theme but suddenly it became to send the error for the one i wrote, i saw that the function you told me wasn’t there i wrote it on line 50 to 52 as you recomended

function flush_widget_cache() {
wp_cache_delete(‘sydney_action’, ‘widget’);
}

i uploaded the file with te change and the page sent me the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file, expecting function (T_FUNCTION) in /homepages/10/d620954187/htdocs/clickandbuilds/Maqueta/wp-content/themes/sydney-pro-ii/widgets/fp-call-to-action.php on line 96

Now i don’t know what to do, can you help me? i also erased the theme and uploaded again and the error doesn’t desapear.

Best regards Serch

Hello there,

Please replace the function I recommended with this:

function flush_widget_cache() {
   wp_cache_delete('sydney_action_widget', 'widget');
}

Let me know how it goes. I’ll wait to hear back from you regarding your stats.

Kharis

Thanks a lot, that solved the error that was sending after saving anything, that problem is already solved, now i can save or update any post or page without any trouble.

But now appears that my portfolio was damaged, i have projects created on the WP admin panel, on a page i used the Sydney FP: Portfolio widget and it does the grid, it was working ok before the problem above, but now that i’m checking the site it seems broken, the grid is displayed but onces you select the project you get the error:

Oops! That page can’t be found.
It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try one of the links below or a search?

i tried to create a new project and see if it happen again and it did, the grid is not connecting with the right page that should be displaying after clicking the project.

also on the mobile version the overlay does not displays the name of the project only when you go back can see the overlay and the name.

i don’t know if this problem is connected and you can help me or i need to create a new Subject.

Anyway, Thanks for your help.

Best regards

Hello there,

The other two issues don’t seem to relate with the initial one. Please split them on new topics. We will be more than happy to assist you from there.
