Duplicate headers

Please see http://www.quotenergy.com/what-we-do/

Notice how each site origin row has duplicate headers?
Well I would like to remove/hide the first one (the smaller one).

Both are <h3> tags. Any ideas?

Hello there,

Which text did you mean? Please advise.

Sorry for not being clear

The titles. See how there are two of each? I want to keep the Sydney formatted title and hide the Wordpress title

Hello there,

Thank you for the followup. I still can’t get it clearly, sorry. Please take a screenshot and put some annotations. Then upload it to the free file hosting service like Dropbox, Google Derive, or cloudup.com and share the link into it here.

You can see it here

Hello there,

Thank you for sharing the link. It helps me better.

Could you please try to apply the following CSS code through the Simple Custom CSS plugin or child theme’s style.css?

.postid-8051 .entry-header{
   display: none;
}

If you want to hide the page header on other page, just replicate that code and replace 8051 with the respective page ID. It can be found while you editing the page. In the address bar of the web browser, you will see something like:

kharis,

worked like a charm for the individual pages. how do I hide the duplicate headers on the main services page?

Both titles are H3 tags and I cannot figure out how to hide the Wordpress standard and keep the formatted Sydney title. These are listed using the Services Type B widget.

Do you know a simple way to automatically show excerpts for this widget or is it best to create them manually?

Hello there,

To hide the service title on the Service Type B widget, try adding this CSS code:

.sydney_services_b_widget .list-item .content > h3{
   display: none;
}

> Do you know a simple way to automatically show excerpts for this widget or is it best to create them manually?

It can only be done manually by inserting the read more tag within the content body. Please see this screenshot: https://cloudup.com/ciFPhqmsOVn.

Kharis,

  1. thank you for your help here. This minor edit is driving me nuts

  2. I added the code like you said above on the page using Simple CSS
    .sydney_services_b_widget .list-item .content h3 {
    display: none;
    }
    Now I don’t have any titles on the same page mentioned in this thread. It seems that both the WP and Sydney titles use the same <h3> tag. Not really sure what is going on here

  3. Kind of disappointed by the excerpt feature. Thought it would be great to draft an excerpt under the main body in WP then have option to use the excerpt and the theme would automatically add the MORE tag and link the excerpt (like in a a Type B widget) to the page.

Thanks again.
