Distance between sidebar widgets?

#1

Is there a way to adjust the distance between widgets in the sidebar in West Pro? Mine are very far apart. Thanks!

Hello there,

Could you please try to apply the following CSS code through the Simple Custom CSS plugin or child theme’s style.css?

#secondary .widget{
  margin-bottom: 10px;
}

Kharis

#3

That decreased it a little, but there is still a large space. I tried changing it to 1px also, and it still left a large space.

Hello there,

Try adding !important argument, pelase.

#secondary .widget{
  margin-bottom: 1px !important;
}

If it didn’t help, please share the link to your site, so I could inspect it.

It doesn’t look like that changed it at all. Here’s a link to the site:

It is displaying like this http://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/1598356/fa82d77e5101cff533121c6b2dd8e891 on my screen. So you would like to reduce the bottom padding?

Kharis

#7

Yes, if that’s what’s causing the problem. Can you tell me how to do that?

#8

Try this one, please:

#secondary .widget-area .widget{
  padding-bottom: 0 !important;
}

Kharis

#9

I don’t think that changed it either.

Please try to clear your web browser’s cache. If your site is being cached by a plugin like W3 Total Cache, please empty all cache as well.

Kharis

#11

Cleared browser cache, emptied all cache on W3 total cache, and tried a different browser and different computer.

THat’s much better! Thank you so much for your help!

Last question: Is there a way to remove the word “Shop” at the top of the main shop page?

#16

To hide the “Shop” title, try adding this code please:

.home.post-type-archive-product .entry-title{
  display: none;
}

Kharis
