Displaying More Than 10 stories in a category

By default, NewsAnchor Pro seems to display 10 stories in a category, as you can see here:

I would like to get it to display 16 stories - how do I do this?

Also, there seems to be a small bug in the code that lays out a category page. If you look at the page I’ve pointed to, you’ll notice that the first story in each line is slightly higher than the next two that follow it. A stray <P> tag, perhaps?

Please try to set 16 as value in wp-admin > Settings > Reading > , by default it’s set to 10.

The first post issue is not a stray <p> the first post have a smaller margin-top, then the others, that have caused the misalignment, but you can fix that by adding the same margin-top to the first post with this Custom CSS:

.masonry-layout .site-main .post:first-child {
    margin-top: 20px !important;

Please add the above CSS to your Child Theme’s style.css or in case you haven’t setup a Child Theme already, then you can also use this plugin to add the CSS to it: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/ so you will not loose the changes on theme updates.

Please let me know how it works.

Best Regards,

Thank you Csaba

I worked out how to alter the number of posts displayed myself this morning as I was poking around the settings - d’oh! Sorry to have wasted your time.

But I’d never heard of simple-custom-css before, so I installed it, added your CSS and voila! It worked brilliantly: problem solved.

Much appreciated :slight_smile:

Great! You’re most welcome! If you need help with anything else, please, feel free to open a new topic.
