DIfferent Header Size for different pages

Is it possible only to have the big slider on the home page, but deactivate it on the other (Content) pages? Or at least change the size?

It looks great on my home page, but then is too big for the content pages.

Any help would be awesome :slight_smile:

Best

Hi Alex,

On the Blog page that is not the slider and it shows that way by default, I guess you have selected the Slider to show on other Pages in Customizer > Header Area > Header Type: https://snag.gy/mCKYJ6.jpg Please select “Image” instead, if you want to show the Header Image like on the Demo’s Pages.

Kind Regards,
Csaba

Hi csaba,

Unfortunately my website is not yet online. However I would want it to look like on the demo. There the header is only that big for the home page, but then for blog it is around half the size. https://demo.athemes.com/themes/?theme=Sydney

Thank you for replying so fast!

Dear csaba,

thank you very much. I was able to implement it but I have another problem that arose out of the nowhere. I did not change anything but all of a sudden the text of the slider is on the top instead of the middle for desktops and laptops and still in the middle for tablets and smartphones.

I added:
.slide-inner {
position: absolute;
top: 50%;
left: 0;
right: 0;
text-align: center;
}
However it seems to think that this is 50% for desktops and if I move it lower so that it looks like 50% on desktops it is too low on all other devices
