Default line-break for "paragraph"-style body text

Hello,

When I use the basic text editor to add content to a post, pressing “Enter” to begin a new line of text automatically inserts a line break, presumably to start a new paragraph. Is there a way to change this style site-wide, so that pressing “enter” once simply moves to a new line rather than skipping one?

Right now it looks like this:

Line One

Line Two

and there is no way to make it look like this:

Line One
Line Two

Thank you!

P.S. Along similar lines, I’d love to know if there are ways of customizing other typographic variables like leading and kerning?

Hello @goliasbooks,

Please try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code in DashboardAppearanceCustomizeAdditional CSS (WordPress 4.7 and up). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme.

body p {
    margin-bottom: 0;
}

Please provide more details regarding your second issue.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hello Roman,
Thank you for the response, but this doesn’t seem to be working. Have I implemented it incorrectly?

Hello @goliasbooks,

I have just checked your website, but it looks like it’s in maintenance mode.

Can you please leave here a note when it’s live?

Kind Regards, Roman.
