Customized post needs to show in full width

In Sydney theme, it is able to use types/post types to create new post types.
There are 5 post types built in default.
I use emplyees and create many posts. Some of them, I want to show them in single page and in full width mode.
Becasue there is not attributes in the editing page, I could make the posts showed in full width.

How can I achieve the goal?

Hello there,

Thank you for asking.

To make the single employee layout becomes full width, try to apply the following CSS code through the Simple Custom CSS plugin or child theme’s style.css

.single-employees #primary.col-md-9{
  width: 100%;
}

.single-employees #secondary{
  display: none;
}

The code above will be applied globally. To assign on a specific employees single post page, you can add post ID class name. So the code will look like

.single-employees.postid-30 #primary.col-md-9{
  width: 100%;
}

.single-employees.postid-30 #secondary{
  display: none;
}

To find the ID, go edit your employee. Then take a look at the browser’s address bar. You will see something like

http://yoursite.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=30&action=edit

From the URL above, the ID is: 30

I hope this reply helps.

Regards,
Kharis
