Customize Dropdown menu

Hi!
Is there a way to decrease dropdown menu opacity?

Thanks!
M.

Hello @freyya,

Please try to use the following CSS code to decrease drop-down menu opacity.

You can add CSS code to your site with Simple Custom CSS plugin (just copy CSS code and paste it in Dashboard -> Appearance -> Custom CSS after installing and activating the plugin). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme.

#mainnav li:hover > ul {
    opacity: 0.8 !important;
}

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hei thanks! I’ll try it immeddiately.
Also I wanted to ask: is there a way not to see logo in dropdown menu when you scroll, just the menu?

Thanks a lot! Have a great day!
M.

Hello @freyya,

Yes, there is a way not to see logo when you scroll, just the menu.

Please try this CSS code:

.site-header.fixed .site-logo {
    display: none;
}

.site-header.fixed .col-md-8.col-sm-4.col-xs-12 {
    float: right !important;
}

Kind Regards, Roman.

Great! Thanks a lot!

M.

You are welcome @freyya!

And have a nice day as well :slight_smile:

Hi @Roman. Is it possible in Sydney to have an alternate (smaller) logo in the top menu when the page is scrolled down? At the same time, decreasing the menu height.

I looked through all the customization options but couldn’t find it… Maybe with CSS.

I had something like this in mind: http://www.everydayadhara.com/ (except that the logo would still be aligned left and the menu link aligned right)

Thank you very much! :slight_smile:

Hello Juarez,

Please try to use the following CSS code to achieve such functionality.

You can add CSS code to your site with Simple Custom CSS plugin (just copy CSS code and paste it in Dashboard -> Appearance -> Custom CSS after installing and activating the plugin). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme.

.float-header .site-logo {
    max-height: 70px;
    transition: 0.5s;
}

By the way, it is better to create your own topic for your question to keep forum in good order.

Kind Regards, Roman.
