Customers Section Background Google Security Issue - http vs. https

No mater what image I select for the customers section background, I get a security issue in Chrome and a notice that it is calling up an http rather than https: Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://www.gobydesign.com/’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image ‘http://www.gobydesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Morten.jpg’. This content should also be served over HTTPS. I’m using secure images from our wordpress image gallery. Why would I be getting this errror?

Hello,

I’ve just checked your website and it seems to be okay now. Is your issue already resolved?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi Roman. No the problem persists. I had simply remove the background image from the customer section. I’ve now replaced the image. You should now be able to see the issue. Thanks in advance for your help. Derrick

Any further help on this topic would be greatly appreciated. The only way that I can get the issue to go away is to remove the background image from this section. Any image that I put there causes the issue. Really seems to be a Sydney Pro theme issue.

Hello Derrick,

I’ve just checked your website once again in Chrome and Firefox but I don’t see mixed content warning. Did you remove that image once again?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Yes I did as I hadn’t heard back from you. Thanks for getting back to me. I’ve added the image back in now. I appreciate your help very much.

Hello Derrick, we try to answer within 24 hours.

I can see your issue now. I’ve checked the code and saw that background image comes from Elementor, not from the theme itself.

Please check this topic on Elementor support forum:

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thanks. That appears to have fixed the issue.
