Custom widget area

Hi!

I added a custom widget area with a navigation at the footer of my website, but it’s only shown when I’m logged in the admin area. Can anyone tell me why?

Sydney Child Theme:

functions.php

function sydney_child_widgets_init() {
register_sidebar( array(
		'name'          => __( 'Metanavi', 'sydney' ),
		'id'            => 'metanavi-1',
		'description'   => '',
		'before_widget' => '<aside id="%1$s" class="widget %2$s">',
		'after_widget'  => '</aside>',
		'before_title'  => '<h3 class="widget-title">',
		'after_title'   => '</h3>',
	) );
}
add_action( 'widgets_init', 'sydney_child_widgets_init' );

footer.php

 <?php if ( is_active_sidebar( 'metanavi-1' )  ) : ?>
                    <?php dynamic_sidebar( 'metanavi-1' ); ?>
            <?php endif; ?><!-- #metanavi -->

Thanks! :wink:

Found the problem: it’s Zen Cache
