Custom menu widget

Hi Vlad, i would need to add a custom menu to my blog page, but there is no custom menu widget. also i usually like to work with custom menu widgets as it gives more choices on the individual pages/posts.
How to add this widget?
thanks
caro

Hey,

Create a folder called widgets in your child them and inside it create a nav-widget.php file. Paste this in that file: http://pastebin.com/925YM5TJ
After that add this to your child theme’s functions.php file:

<?php
function moesia_child_widgets() {
     register_widget( 'Nav_Menu_Widget' );
}
add_action( 'widgets_init', 'moesia_child_widgets', 99 );
require get_stylesheet_directory() . "/widgets/nav-widget.php";
?>

perfect, thanks!

sorry but I use your solution and my site is not load.

@wptom: you probably made a PHP error somewhere. If you can’t access your admin area then log in via FTP and delete the theme, then you’ll be able to access your admin area and you can reinstall the theme.
