CSS: no styling on missing page 404

Hi

https://hostabout.com.au/foobar

I’ve noticed the CSS isn’t applied to the 404 page. This page link above is a non existent page so should display, as it does, with the oops message. All good there, but I’d like the CSS from the rest of my site to be applied, like on this page: https://hostabout.com.au/about-us/

Do I need to change any PHP for this to happen? Or can a Child CSS be sufficient?

thank you

Hello @helendwyer,

That is default 404 page of Sydney Pro theme. What exactly do you want to change?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi Roman

The page content and layout is fine, just wanting the page font styles from the rest of my Theme’s fonts to be applied. Looks like Arial/helvetica to me and Open Sans is my font.

Thanks!

I have just checked the code and fonts seem to be the same. Can you please provide some explanatory screenshots in order to illustrate how you want it to look?

You can upload screenshots to your WordPress Media Library and share a link, or you can use one of the online screenshot services.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hello - here are two links of what I see.

Hello @helendwyer, thank you for the screenshots. Please try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code in DashboardAppearanceCustomizeAdditional CSS (WordPress 4.7 and up). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme.

body.error404 h1.page-title {
    font-size: 20px;
    color: #443f3f;
}

body.error404 div.page-content p {
    color: #443f3f;
    font-weight: 600;
    font-size: 16px;
}

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

perfect fix - thanks Roman
