CSS: and Line Break?

I can’t make it work to have a LINE BREAK (return) in between my sentences when using the

 format.

How can you do that?

I meant the PRE Format… just took the code straight into the post…

Hello there,

You can use a single enter.

<pre>
First line
Second line
Third line
</pre>

It will be resulting something like this:

sorry man… if that would have been working like that… believe me, I wouldn’t have been posting!
lol;

Hello there,

Please share the page/post URL where you inserted the PRE tag, so I can check.

Kharis

Here is a link to the URL:

I couldn’t see if you have been adding any additional code after the first line, second line and third line.

Let me know… however… a regular line-break with a single enter just doesn’t work!

I am sorry, I still can’t reproduce the same issue on my test site. I have something like this in my text widget.

This is the result.

Do you have other active plugin? What will happen if you disable them temporarily?

Hello there,

Please remove this line:

white-space: normal;

from your CSS code.

Regards,
Kharis

I removed it.

Issue NOT resolved. Still the same!

What will happen if you remove this code block which styles the PRE tag?

/* Specifies the preformatted body text */
body pre {
	white-space: normal;
	font-style: normal;
	font-size: 23px;
	word-break: keep-all;
    text-align: justify;
    text-justify: inter-word;
    color: black;
    letter-spacing: -0.5px;
    word-spacing: 0.5px;
  line-height: 26px;
  padding-top: 20px;
  padding-bottom: 10px;
  padding-left: 10px;
  padding-right: 20px;
  margin-top: 0px;
  margin-bottom: 20px;
  margin-left: 0px;
  margin-right: 0px;
}
