Creating shop page on sydney pro theme

Hi,

I want to set up a shop page similar to
http://demo.athemes.com/themes/?theme=Sydney%20Pro

How I can proceed further?

I have made the shop page and it looks highly unorganized, please refer to the below link for the screenshot

Please help.

Ajit

Hello Ajit,

First, I suggest you to use square images for your products.

Second, you can use WooSidebars plugin to configure your sidebar.

Third, I’m not sure why your search box is so close to the logo, I have to inspect the code to tell something specific.

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi,

I am doing modification as per your suggestion. I want one advise regarding look and feel of the website.

My existing website is www.aaashi.com and instead of adding shop page, can I make a complete new website on same Sydney pro template and I might keep the site url as store.aaashi.com?

Will there be any issue related to seo and other important stuff. Please advise, how shall I start creating my store page?

Regards,
Ajit

Hello Ajit,

I am not sure what you want to change, but changing links will most likely affect SEO.

For more detailed advice I kindly suggest you to contact person or company specializing in SEO services.

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Hi,

My header logo is overlapping with β€œcart” on shop page, can you please let me know, how I can move the logo upwards, parallel to menu?

image url is as follows:–

Await your reply.

Hello Ajit,

I will be glad to help you, but can you please provide a link to your shop page to let me inspect it?

Hi,
my website is www.aaashi.com, but I am doing all these modification on localhost. Can I give you my TeamViewer id and password?

Hi Roman,

I created the shop page on the live website, please inspect the below link and advise.

Ajit

Hello Ajit,

Please try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code to your site with Simple Custom CSS plugin (just copy CSS code and paste it in Dashboard β†’ Appearance β†’ Custom CSS after installing and activating the plugin). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme.

.woocommerce #content {
    padding-top: 150px;
}

Ajit
