Create a Revolution Slider on each page

How can i create a different Revolution Slider on each page, instead of the header slider that comes with Sydney

Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out to us here. You can change the default slider by overriding the sydney_slider_template() function. Please add the following function into the child theme’s functions.php file or you can use the Functionality plugin.

function sydney_slider_template(){

  if ( is_front_page() ) { /* Front page */
    echo do_shortcode('[rev_slider alias="homepage"]');
  }

  if(is_page(5)){ /* Page width ID 5 */
    echo do_shortcode('[rev_slider alias="another-rev-slider"]');
  }

  if(is_page(6)){ /* Page width ID 6 */
    echo do_shortcode('[rev_slider alias="another-rev-slider-2"]');
  }

}

Replace 5 with your page ID. To find the page ID, edit your page then take a look at the browser’s address bar. So will see something like:

yoursite.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=5&action=edit

No problem. Just go easy on it.

If you don’t mind, could you please rate our Sydney theme here? We would highly appreciate it if you do so.
